I have been vegan my whole life, so I did not skip a beat making tofu. I have been making it since I was 2 years old. One of my favorite photos in our house is me, at about 4 years old, cooking tofu on a stool at the stove, totally buck naked. (My family wanted to add this picture, but I refused.) I have learned how to tofu so many different ways, which (for better or worse) makes me a snob.
